SEED

One to one learning with a study partner on a Wednesday evening from 8pm onwards. If interested please contact Rabbi Fine (Men) or Chantal Young (Ladies) or call the Shul office. Please visit the Seed website for information on adult and family Jewish education across the UK.

 

 

 


Keshet Nersury

At Cockfosters & N Southgate Synagogue
Monday to Friday from 9am-12pm for children from 2½ years to school

We are delighted to announce the new name for Yavneh Nursery from September 2007: Keshet (“rainbow”)The Nursery is undergoing an exciting transformation with new teachers, equipment and toys.

Convenient for Wolfson Hillel School (5 mins walk). OFSTED regulated.

Places from September are limited – please call the Shul office for more information, to arrange a visit or to reserve your place now!

 



Lunch and Learn

A weekly informal learning session on the week’s sedra given by Rabbi Fine. This is held in the Beit Hamedrash at 1pm on Wednesday with customary food to supplement the discussion.


One to One With Rabbi Fine

Members in the community learn with Rabbi Fine on a one to one basis on many different aspects of Judaism. Please contact him to see if he can find a suitable slot in the week for you.


Summer Seudah

The Seudah Shlishit in the Summer months is held in the MT Hall after a Gemara shiur and Mincha. Each week a member of the community gives a Dvar Torah.


Ladies Shiurim

Fortnightly on a Tuesday evening at 8:30pm Rabbi Fine gives a shiur to the Ladies of the community on a specific Sedra topics. In the Summer the Ladies hold a Pirkei Avot shiur at 7pm on Shabbat. Both Shiurim are hosted at the home of Ladies in the community.


SCAM

The Alternative Minyan on Shabbat held in the Beit Hamedrash for those who want to experience a Shabbat morning service with explanations and participation. The service starts at 9:30am with coffee and croissants and a short talk on the weekly Sedra by Simon Hamilton, one of our Community Directors.
